Frequently Asked Questions

What is Santa’s White Mountain Adventure?

Your adventure begins by clearing Santa’s top-secret security checkpoint to find out if you have been naughty or nice.  Then you will enter Santa’s workshop to help the elves prepare for the busy holiday season.  You will help them prepare stocking stuffers, and test toys, among other fun things.  Then you will be off to help out in the busy mailroom where you will write your letter to Santa, and drop it in the mail.  Your family then gets to spend one-on-one time with Santa, where each child will receive a gift from Santa and can take a picture with him.  ONE GIFT PER PAID TICKET.

Why is it different from last year?

We were presented with the opportunity to develop Santa's White Mountain Adventure into an even bigger and more amazing experience. Unfortunately, it was not possible to accomplish this by the 2019 Christmas Season. So we partnered with the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside and have created Santa's Workshop at the Town Hall. Several of last year's adventure activities will be moved to the Town Hall location. You will still be able to enjoy the Adventure Stop at Whispering Pines and The Bistro at Annie's either before or after your scheduled ticket time.

Do we get to do the same activities as last year?

We didn't want you to miss out on any of the fun so we have created a smaller version of the toy factory and changed the structure so that most activities are at one location. Whispering Pines will still be hosting an Adventure Stop for you to enjoy in addition to Santa's workshop. You will still be able to visit additional Adventure Stops anytime they are open that is convenient for you.

Do we still get a picture with Santa?

Yes. However, you will be responsible for bringing a phone or camera to take your own picture. We will not be taking them and emailing them out this year. We will have elves available to assist with taking the pictures if needed. We want to make sure your whole family can be in it.

Where is Santa’s White Mountain Adventure located?

The beautiful White Mountains of Arizona are host to Santa’s White Mountain Adventure in the winter wonderland of Pinetop-Lakeside.  The town is located in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, home to the largest contiguous stand of Ponderosa Pines in the world.

Your adventure will take place at the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Hall. It is located at 325 West White Mountain Blvd. in Lakeside.

What is the total duration of the adventure?

Santa’s White Mountain Adventure lasts approximately 45 minutes from the time of your entrance to Santa's workshop to your exit. The Additional Adventure Stop(s) should take about 30 min.

Why did you change the price of the tickets so much?

First, we listened to feedback from last year and wanted everyone to be able to enjoy Santa's White Mountain Adventure. Second, since we had to scale the adventure back a little (while we work on our BIG plans), we felt it was only appropriate to adjust the pricing too.

Does Santa’s toy factory have handicap accommodations?

Yes, the location of the event is wheelchair accessible.

For any other assistance, please contact us at SantasWhiteMountainAdventure@gmail.com

Are strollers allowed at Santa’s White Mountain Adventure?

We always encourage a sling or infant carrier for little ones, but if needed, strollers must be small enough so as not to encumber/block walkways.

What should we wear for the Santa’s White Mountain Adventure?

Winter conditions may exist outside but Santa’s workshop is located inside a well heated and comfortable building. We encourage you to dress in the holiday spirit and to be comfortable.  Christmas Pajamas are always welcome!
